Common Effluent
Treatment Plant (CETP)

PHARMEZ operates a dedicated, modern CETP with a zero-discharge system, one of the most advanced in India’s pharma SEZ ecosystem. The plant recovers around 95% of treated water, which is supplied back to SEZ member units for their utility operations. Operations are verified under a third-party environment auditor, and the plant is backed by a 270 KWH solar power system.

Solid Waste
Management Yard

Zydus has engaged a specialized third-party agency to manage its Solid Waste Management Yard. This initiative ensures that waste generated within the premises is handled responsibly, efficiently, and in an environmentally sustainable manner.

Collection: Non-hazardous waste materials are systematically collected from designated collection points across the premises.

Segregation: Waste is carefully sorted into different categories to maximize recycling opportunities and minimize landfill impact.

Disposal: Segregated waste is transported to authorized recyclers and disposal facilities, ensuring safe, compliant, and eco-friendly waste management practices.
